Lost Dog, Sprague, Wa. Area Please Help Find Peetie

UPDATE: Peetie (our lost dog) was found deceased by a farmer July 25th, 2013 in the wheat fields a couple of miles from the initial accident location. A special thank you to Gina M Habbestad of Adam’s County Pet Rescue for all her help and confirming that Peetie was found and identified. We are all heart-broken at his loss and hope to share some information on things we have learned through this experience to help others quickly find their missing pets.

My wife was in a terrible roll over accident on I90 at mile marker 240 near the Sprague Lake. Our beloved dog Peetie was in the front seat and he ran off after the crash. We haven’t seen him since and can’t find him! My wife is ok thank God but Peetie is from Seattle and is probably very scared and confused. He’s a medium sized beagle/terrier mix with a black coller and a home again tag. Please call 206-423-4452 if you find him!

We need as many eyes out looking for this poor scared dog as possible!!

The area where Peetie was last seen is very rural. We are hoping one of the families at nearby farm houses might see him or if he made it to the rest stop or even possibly Sprague Lake. Please use any of the links above to contact us or notify animal shelter / rescues of his location.

Unfortunately, Peetie was spotted today by a farmer getting ready to plow fields. Peetie was deceased. Again, we cannot thank everyone enough in the Sprague Wash. area for their outpouring of support in helping us find Peetie. We now have some closure and can start the healing process, but we will never forget the joy that Peetie brought us and will miss him tremendously.
